Cultural Series
Spring 2018

Our Cultural Series provides the community with a wide-range of diverse programs. Sridhar Pappu, author of The Year of the Pitcher and a Michigan Notable Book, visits Ionia to talk about his book on Thursday, April 5 at 7 PM. Due to space restrictions at the library the program will be hosted by First United Methodist Church across the street from the library at 105 East Main Street.

Reader's Circle Book Club

The bookclub meets the second Wednesday of the month September-June at 6:30PM in the Adminstrative Office at the library.

A Book Club for Men

The aim of this program is to read and discuss today's most intriguing books while enjoying local food, drink and camaraderie in a comfortable setting.

He-Men meet at Steele Street Brewing, 300 S. Steele St., Ionia, MI at 7PM.

Sit 'n' Knit

A "Sit & Knit" Group meets Monday evenings from 6:00~7:30pm at the library. Lori Johnson facilitates the group. The Program is open to all levels from beginner to expert. Learn a new stitch yourself or share your expertise as a mentor.

Johnson requests that new knitters bring light-colored yarn and size 8 needles; new crocheters should bring the same type of yarn and a size G hook.
